After replaceing the water pump and belt the temperature gauge stoped working. What caused this?
Is there a senser somewhere or a fuse. What should I look for?

Hi there,

Thank you for the donation,

I would be thinking that the temp sender wire has been knocked off, I will have to look at a manual to identify the exact location for you, but they are normally in the head at the front of the engine near the thermostat, I will see if I can find I pic to post.

Hi there,

It's actually located at the rear of the cylinder head, the pic is not all that clear but it's all I have just now, as it is remote from where the work was done, I would also be checking that all the air has been bleed from the cooling system, the sender will only work if submerged in coolant.
