1991 Mazda B2200 Smoking

I bought my b2200 for 300 and he told me that it burns oil but I didnt realize it would smoke so bad in the mornings when I start it when its cold it starts smoking for like 30 seconds and revs up to 2000 RPMs is that the vacum hose or is the valve stem seal gone or could I be getting blow by THANKS
