I recently had my radiator changed and after that i started having this problem with my temperature gauge. It always goes up to Hot when i start the car and remains there until i switch off the engine.
Is is a temostat problem?

Thankyou for your time.

Hi there,

If the gauge is going to hot as soon as you turn on the key, i would be checking the temp sender. Unplug and turn on key, if temp gauge stays at low, sender is faulty, if gauge goes to high still, the is a problem in the wire for the gauge, it is getting an earth when it shouldn't. If the thermostat was not changed when the radiator as done, do so as well.
