1994 Mazda 323 coolant leakage

Engine problem
1994 Mazda 323 V6 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 140000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
have coolant leaking at the front of the engine but can not find any visable place of leak but lots is dripping. Suspect it is the water pump but can not see where or exactly where the pump is . Think it is behing a plastic shield at the top of the engine.

sound like it is coming from the water pump to me! to find it follow the belt routing. one of the pully's goes to the water pump.

Yep, the water pump is behind the timing belt cover which I would replace as well. Here is the location of the water pump so you can change it out. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes
