I found a crack in the lower radiator hose of my 02 ford windstar, I am not very mechanically talented and the local repair shop says it will cost $150-$175 to replace this $8.99 part. I am a single father and don't have a lot of money. How hard is it to replace the hose? Is there anything I need to know or be careful for while doing it? Can you give me some direction? I have had to wait the past 3 days out because I had to wait for my paycheck so I'm pretty sure all the fluid has leaked out by now so I'm going to walk to the parts store to pick up what I need. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
