Reporting outcomes: The transmission was fixed; the CV axle leak was fixed and the oxygen sensor was replaced. The car passed inspection and is now for sale as my sister (who I bought the car for is now driving a 2018 HRV 31K car- not my money!). I am upgrading the car's overall condition: new carpet, new seats and some additional things to make it a great deal for the next driver. Thanks for being there through it all.
