Looking for cheap shocks with good performance?

I've been noticing lately that my vehicle is bumping a lot when driving, so I figured it was time to replace my shock absorbers.

I drive the truck listed above 1500 and mainly drive on country roads. I wanted to find a shock absorber that would provide excellent comfort while maintaining stability in aggressive driving situations. Durability is also a factor that I consider, but I think the original one is too expensive. I want to find a more cost-effective one. A friend recommended lobozean. Com to me, but I also want to know more about niche brands. Affordable price and good quality.

If you have any suggestions for shock absorber brands, models, or experience, please let me know. My knowledge of this is relatively limited, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,

Have you checked Rockauto. Com? They offer several different options, and their prices are usually very good.

The front shocks are a strut. You can get just the shock which required taking the old one apart and reusing the coil spring, and strut mounts. Or they make a complete unit which are basically the same price. See pic below.

As far as the lower cost ones, Ultra Power seems to be a good choice. For this vehicle, the entire assembly is under 80.00 each. Take a look at pic 2.
