I don't know where my gear shift arm is. I need to relocate or find a way to shift my truck in neutral without a key like on your video. Thank you in advance for all your help.

Hi Felicia,

You most likely have an AOD transmission. Please see this video. You only need to watch the first two minutes of this video where he shows the linkage and how you move it. As you will see it clicks as he moves the arm. Each of these clicks is a gear position. When you remove your cable you should be in park from the shifter on the inside of the vehicle. This means you take the cable off of this shift arm on the side of the transmission and then move it two clicks which will be neutral. Do not do this unless you have the vehicle secured so it will not roll. If you do not, your vehicle will roll away.

Let me know if you need more information. Thanks
