Heater core?

My father & I are trying to replace the heater core in my 90' Lincoln Towncar but when we refer to the guide it says that the unit is suppose to be move back then slide to the right it still feels like something is holding it back. The screws are all removed but there is something holding it back. Can you picture what may be holding it back.

Yes they are. There are studs sticking through the firewall, remove the nuts and the plenum should come out

We are trying to replace the heater core on a 93 town car. Can you give us some good instructions and possibly some pictures. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
