Hi Glen;
The panel is only held securely by tapered expansion type clips.
First check for any indication of Philips head screws around the exterior of the panel.
Once you are sure there is "NO" hardware securing the panel, start at the bottom and pull toward you. Insert something like a screw driver at the base to aid you in creating an opening to get your fingers in.
Once you get it started, it will become increasingly easier to release the other tapered expansion clips. You will also find it easier to have the drivers side window down when you are releasing the top.
When you are reinstalling the panel look for the acceptor holes where the panel was originally released. Line up the tapered clips and just push the panel back on. If it does not go into place, just pull back the panel slightly to see if it is aligned, do not force anything, just take it slow.
