2002 Lincoln LS V8 68,000 miles.
I want to know if I have been fueling my car with 89 Octane Fuel and not 91 Octane Fuel, will that cause the system a false reading that the Fuel Level Sending Unit needs to be replaced? Can I correct this by burning out the 89 octane fuel and replacing with the 91 octane fuel?

You should use what ever is stated in the manual, the problems should not affect the level however. Just start putting in what it calls for and anything affected will return to normal.
