a) apparently there was a recall we were never informed of, have you heard of ford honoring said recall after vehicle is 10 yrs old?
b) I have heard that you can use Jaguar S ball joints in these early Lincolns, for far less cost. Is that accurate, and if so, where could I find parts, if you know. Thanks

The recall was only for a nut being loose and 98% of the repairs were nothing but tighten the nut. They would replace parts only if the damage occurred from the nut being loose and after driving it for ten years, that would really apply any more.
