Will a 3.8 liler fwd motor from a 94 mercury sable fit in
a 90 lincoln continal with a 3.8 liter fwd motor

The scrapyards are the best source on this. I would fully expect that there will be additional components that you'll need to swap over as they are from different animals, assuming it is do-able. Such as manifolds, brackets etc.

Becareful getting used 3.8 ford motors as they have a pattern of headgasket failures.
