The car will not start when these message are shown?

On the dash display I see the following:

FUEL FLOW DATA ERROR
RPM DATA ERROR
GEAR DISPLAY DATA ERROR

The car will not start when these message are
shown. When these messages occur I find that
by just waiting for some length of time
(between 15 minutes and overnight) the messages
disappear and the car will start. This happens
without warning. The problem will repeat itself
usually the next day or the next month.
Very agravating!

From what I have found on those 3 warnings by description all related back to a PCM problem. According to Mitchell One, a quick test procedure must be done with a scanner.

I don't know that there is necessarily a problem with the PCM. Short of doing the above, you can check the pcm connections and verify grounds.
