My mechanic tells me my engine has four major oil leaks- including both head gaskets...additionally he informs the diagnostic revealed all three emissions sensors have issues- two to be replaced and the EGR(?) has all its ports clogged and will have to be worked on as well... All this is estimated to cost $1600. Is this a fair price and is it even worth fixing?

the car is in pretty good shape otherwise- he says he would not foresee any other major problems in the next 2-3 years if we fix these.

thanks

150000 miles is getting up theeere, i would estimate if you hvae these fixed you would aboue about 50000 more miles if you do routine maitnence to it. and to you is 50000 miles worth it to you for the price? if so go for it, it is a reasonable price if it has four oil leaks especially in the heads.
