I've just bought a tuning chip for the LR3 (Discovery 3) V6 diesel engine, which taps into the common rail fuel supply electrics. I have taken the cover off the engine but cannot find where to plug the unit in to the common rail unit. What do I do, there is no workshop manual for the vehicle, could you advise what items I need to remove to locate the wirring, I mean the gubbins sitting in the V of the engine
Regards
Phil

All the tuning programmers I have installed are done through the obd2 connector under dash on drivers side. I have never done one on a rover though. What does the connector look like?

The chip connects in line with the common rail connection and then fits to the common rail. I've looked at Mitchel manuals but don't know whether the LR3 manual that they do covers the TDV6 2.7litre Diesel engine, I dont want to buy a manual if it doesn't cover what I need, ie diagrams showing intercooler, turbo and common rail if I knew the location of the common rail diesel feed then I would be able to locate what items need removing to enable installation
