The problem is that when putting the gear in the R- position, no response is found, the car is not moving.
This problem is not happenning all the time but most of time. I was advised to change the gear oil and I did but still the problem existed. Kindly inform me about the possible causes for such problem?
Thanks alot!

Hello. Thanks for the donation. Much appreciatd

Have the car scanned by a transmission shop for transmission related fault codes (not all generic scanners will read trans codes) you may have a bad solonoid in the trans valve body?

REVERSE INHIBIT
If the vehicle exceeds 6 mph (10 km/h) in the forward direction, and Reverse (R) gear is selected, the EAT ECU switches on the low clutch timing solenoid valve in the valve block, which drains the fluid from the reverse clutch.
This function prevents the gearbox from engaging reverse gear when the vehicle is moving in a forward direction, so preventing damage to the gearbox.
