I have to press the gas pedal harder to achieve the same speeds. Feels like it struggling to get up to speed particularly when under 60MPH.
Tachometer goes higher than usual when changing gears. Just feels like a lack of power.

Coil on plugs have been changed as well as the spark plugs. Air filter is new (less than 100 miles on them). No check engine lights.

Hi,

When the engine is running and the transmission is in neutral or park, does it idle smoothly and rev normally? Have you checked fuel pressure? Low pressure can cause power loss that is most noticeable when the engine is under a load.

Based on what you described, it almost sounds like a brake dragging. After driving for a distance, walk around to each wheel and see if there are any smells or excessive heat coming from the wheels.

One last thought. A partially plugged catalytic converter can cause power loss. Are there any odd sounds or odors from the exhaust? Take a look through this link and let me know if anything mirrors what you experience.

Let me know as much as you can.

Take care and I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving.
