While the vehicle is on and in drive there is a tapping or thudding in the gas pedal even when braking.

Hi,

Do you feel it anywhere else? For example, can you feel it on the floor? I ask because there is no linkage between the pedal and the throttle body. It is controlled by electronics. If you feel it in the floor and throttle pedal, it is likely something hitting under the vehicle like the exhaust.

If the noise is loud enough to record, do so and upload it for me to hear. Also, when the engine is cold, wiggle the exhaust to see if it is loose and possibly hitting under the vehicle.

Let me know what you find.
