I recently moved from Big Bear Lake in the mountains (over 7000 feet) to the Inland Empire, in Southern California. It is getting hotter and today, my clutch went to the floor; leaving me unable to change geers. I pumped the clutch and it would engage again. However, this happened now twice and it was almost impossible to get home and I'm afraid to drive.

Odd thing happened, while I was waiting for fast food - the air conditioner suddenly was blasting warm air & I have no idea if this has anything to do with the clutch. The last time the air conditioner did that was while we were sitting in traffic and the check light came on and stayed on for two days - but the clutch went to the floor then too.

You are low on clutch fluid. Add brake fluid to the clutch master cylinder. You probably have a small leak in the system but filling the clutch master cylinder up will temporarily fix the problem.
