I was told the rear struts were leaking and the rear tires "cupping". I never seen any leaks coming from the vehicle (other than when the a/c is on) and have not notice any difference on the rear tires or the way it drives. Do the rear struts need to be changed or can they be repaired? I was quoted $560 for the service and parts, isn't that kind of high?

Take a look at the strut. You will see oil on it if there is a leak. Also, do the bounce test. Bounce the vehicle and if it stops within 3 bounces, the struts should be okay.

Now for the tires. Lightly run your hands over the tire to see if there is any cupping.

Let me know what you find.

Joe
PS: I don't know where you live, but the price is somewhat high.
