Hi
Our car uses unleaded fuel, but in Africa it is not freely available.
What can be done to use normal leaded or LRP instead and what will the consequences be

Hi there,

Firstly you will have trouble even filling the cars tank as the nozzle will be to big for your filler, but that is the least of your problems, you will destroy the cat converter and the O2 sensor, the ECU will try to compensate but it will start giving fault codes & you will have no end of problems, I would be looking for an older car that will accept leaded fuel or LPR fuel.
