Key fob does not start car nor unlocked doors, locked doors, or trunk. When I put key fob in ignition it only turns on about a quarter turn. Batteries in fob have been replaced. Did the 10-second reprogramming of the fob the little red light comes on when I hit the buttons on the fob and the infrared works on the fob. Everything, I find points to all activities module because even the fuse is good.

Hi,

Based on your description, it sounds like there could be an issue with the electronic ignition switch control module could be bad. However, that isn't something to replace until it is confirmed bad.

If you haven't already, you really need to scan the can-bus to see if there are codes related to the module. CAN stands for controller area network. Basically, all computers/modules are tied together via a few wires. This type of scan will identify codes regardless of the module storing them.

Here is a link showing how it's done:

Because of the cost of parts, this is where I recommend starting. If you have already done this, let me know what codes were retrieved.

Take care,

Joe
