Broke in half in my driver door. How can I get the broke piece out and where can I purchase a new key.

Sometimes, if you can get a solid pair of needle nosed pliers, you can simply pull out the key parts. If so, you might then be able to take the two parts of the key to a locksmith, a hardware store, other wherever else they make keys and get it done. Otherwise you would have to go to the dealership to get it made.

If the pliers will not work, then you will have to take the cylinder out then you might be able to work it out. If you cannot get it out, you simply have to replace the locks in the car. You can just replace the one lock, get a new key cut, and have a locksmith re-key the new cylinder to your key.

I am attaching instructions on how to remove and install the lock cylinder.
