I have a 1995, Rio Grande Edition, 86,000 miles. It is a four cylinder engine. The turn signal/wiper arm that sticks out of the steering column was pulled out. I need to replace it. I have purchased the part, but I need to take apart the steering column to get to the inside to replace the part. Where do I start to get to that part? Any hints would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The way they come out is to simply twist and pull the stalk out (if that is what happened to yours then you just slide the new one back in). If your old stalk is broken off in there then take a drill, small bit and tap a 1/8 inch hole in the remaining part of the broken off steel in the hole and then insert a screw and try to pry out the broken piece. Try not to take the column out if you can as it can be a pain. Let me know if you fixed it.
