My Jeep has started to make a knocking in the front end, usually when I turn corners and on inclines and declines. Is this the "short shafts" going out, and if so, how difficult is it to repair myself?
Thx!

i would check out the struts first and from there move on to checking the ball joints and stabilizer bar linkage for play. that sounds like that would be your problems. a halfshaft is a grinding or squeaking noise.
