1967 Other Jeep Models 6 cyl 30000 miles

Hello. This vehicle has not been driven since mid-2001. I have done nothing but keep it clean externally, but it has not been started in all that time.
Could I get some tips as the correct way to bring this vehicle back into service? Obviously, I could replace, or throw a charge on the battery, but I am sure there are other things I should do first. Any tips or suggestions would be very welcome.

When we started to work on the jeep were doing a 69 cj5 with a v6 we just put new fluids in everything oil radiator etc. Used some starter fluid to help get it started at first by taking off the carberator. Cleaned out the gas tank if there was still gas in it. As well as clearing the gas line. You may have to use an air compresor to push gas through the gas tube from tank. We had to do that cause we couldnt get the pump started with out doing that. (We did that on my uncles jeep 72 cj5 as well) so im guessing its pretty common. Hope some of that helped.
