I have a 1999 jeep cherokee sport with 99000 miles on it. The problem i am having is the rear hatch will not open now. For a period of time when i used the the power lock function if you pulled the door handle a few times you could get the hatch to open. Now the hatch lever feels like it is not attached to anything. To further the problem, the key for the rear hatch does not work. Is it a problem with the power lock actuator or something else. Any help on how to get it open so i may get in there and fix it would be great.
