96 Jeep Grand Cherokee Rattles

Underneath my jeep there is a rattle that is loud when in park or when I step on the brake. When I accelerate the noise is gone. The noise is getting louder. What is it and how can I fix it from making the loud noise?

Could be the catalytic converter

what is the noise? check the exaust system, when its cooled, and see if sections have slipped off the hangars possibly bouncing off the body...good luck :)
