Clicking sound when going over bumps, turning and sometimes when braking?

I have a 98 grand cherokee with 190k mi, lately there has been a clicking sound when going over bumps, turning, and sometimes when braking. The closest thing I can relate the sound to is the sound of a spring being stretched out too far. Then sometimes there is a clicking, poping sound. It sounds like they are coming from the front drivers side, but sometimes I can feel it in the pedals. Any help or comments on this would be appreciated. I'm stumped.

Thanks.

Hello,

Typically you will get clicking sound from the CV axle when they are faulty. Usually the boot of the shaft will leak and you will get dirt and debris inside the boot. When that happens you will get clicking noise.
First check the boots on the shaft, if they are leaking you will see grease all over the suspension components. Also look for any lose or broken component.

Here is helpful article:

I have attached diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know of any questions.

Thank you.
