My 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee passenger tail light does not work when turned on but the brake light does work. What is causing problem?

its a bulb replace or have the bulb replaced

I got pulled over for this same problem. Went and picked up a pack of two bulbs. Replaced two and ultimately swapped one of the other bulbs that looked pretty good with the third.

I have this same problem. I saw this post when I was trying to find what might be causing this.

Essentially, the brake light works fine so long as the headlights are not on. Once the headlights are turned on all appears fine until you depress the brake. That is when all taillights on the passenger side go dark (no lights at all)

There are three bulbs in the taillight housing.

Any thoughts?

Maybe I should also point out I have a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee 8 cyl.

check ground wire
or run a test ground wire and try
