I noticed that my car is making this loud whirling/whining sound when driving. I noticed a slight leak when getting into my car at work. I parked it and now I noticed a huge oil leak underneath the car and when I tried to drive it I had difficulty steering. It took alot of effort to steer the car.

Hi there,

You have a power steering leak, this will be at the pump, the supply or return hose or the steering box. If you drive with no oil in system you will damage the pump a the oil is also the lubrication for the pump. So fill the reservoir and wash down the pump& box, run and check for leaks, if in the box or pump, you will need to see your mechanic.
