I have niticed my coolant very rusty colored and gritty
why is it rusty--and I want to changr the coolant its 3 years old now--where is the drain for coolant on my 2000 4ltr jeep

HI there,

you should drop off the lower radiator hose and remove the thermostat, all so remove the heater hose and flush all the coolant out until it runs clear, (make e sure the heater is on) replace the thermostat and the radiator pressure cap if its a few years old, replace coolant and bleed system, run up to temp check the heater is hot and that there are no leaks in the system.
