1. Had heads milled because coolant was leaking into the engine (at 189, 00 miles)
2. After repair, engine began to run at 225 degrees during highway speeds
3. Subsequently replaced thermostat (192 degree) and radiator.
4. Engine now runs consistently at 205 degrees at highway speeds, except during hot weather when the temp rises to about 230 degrees.
5. Before head repair, engine ran consistently around 180 degrees

Does anyone have any suggestions on what may be the cause(s) as to why the engine is still running at above normal temperatures?

Well your coolant temperature sensor could be weak and gummed up causing a late fan trigger. Also look at your air temp sensor in the air filter box both sensors could be giving false readings. Check em out and get back
