My 98' Jeep grand cherokee saw running fine, then I turned it off to go into a store, came back out would not start, It was cranking just would not start. I checked and it had fuel going to it, Also the spark plugs had fire. After letting it sit for about a hour it turned over and started right back up. I took it home, drove with out any problem. Tried to restart it while the engine was hot would do the same thing, after a hour it restarted with out a problem. Please help me

Hi jeremy, thanks for the donation. I would like you to inspect two things, your crank position sensor, it could be faulty, when it gets hot it may cause an open circuit not allowing it to get a signal to the ecm to let it know of the position of the crank shaft, and two I would like you to check your engine coolant temp sensor, as that may be faulty also; causing an open circuit when hot. Please let me inform me of your findings. Thanx and come anytime you feel necessary
