Engine problem
1998 Jeep Cherokee V6 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 110, 00 miles

Go to start the Jeep it turns over, but will not start until I put my foot on the gas pedal, once I take my foot off the pedal it dies. Sometimes if I continue to pump the gas, it will finally start running, other times it will not. If I undo the battery and reconnect it, it is as if I reset the computer, it will run for a couple of days, then it will start with the problem once again.

Check the coolant temperature and throttle position sensors to include the idle air control valve. This don't work might need a computer relearning all that time you're disconnecting the battery.
