1998 Jeep Cherokee oil pressure

I read one report from you about another person who had oil pressure questions on a 1998 jeep cherokee. When the vehicle is up to speed oil pressure is fine, but at a idle(after vehicle has reached operating temperature) pressure is low around 10psi. My question is you told the other person to try 20-50 oil during summer, could there be a oil pump issue with this vehicle? I change my oil at 3000 miles every time. Could this damage the engine?

Is the engine noisy? Hear the lifters tapping, or lower end rapping? 10 psi at idle isn't too bad. Old rule of thumb was 10 psi for every 1000 rpm. Oil pressure warning light on?
