1997 Jeep Cherokee no start

Gages do not come on. When the scan tool is connected it does not pick up any thing. Replaced ECM with a new ECM does the same thing.

I have the exact same problem with my 96 jeep grand cherokee. I still have not figured it out. If you do figure it out post it for me please. I am completely baffled and dont know where to go from here.

ECM, rarely affects gages, look at your fuse panel diagram and start from there.
