Transmission problem
1996 Jeep Cherokee 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

While I was driving on the interstate my jeep suddenly began to decelerate, like it was in neutral. I pulled over and double checked that it was completely in drive, it was. Then I put it in park and then back into overdrive and it was fine. I got it home and checked the transmission fluid, it was a little low so I added the necessary fluid. Could this have caused the problem?

Low line pressure could have caused this fault if it was very low ? if you have problems in the future I would have a Transmission shop look at the vehicle !
