HI,
My 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited recently started flashing the service 4wd switch light. I stopped to check the transmission fluid and it needed a whole quart. I have recently noticed that when I put the vehicle in gear I hear a loud rattling noise predominately near the front right of the vehicle.

Please let me know what you think.
Thanks

First, you need to have the computer scanned to determine why the light is flashing. Most parts stores will do it for free.

As far as the noise, check the heat shield on the catylatic converter. Let me know if it is loose. THat is most likely the noise.
