When I turn the key on to start, a ticking noise comes from the relay box ( fuel pump relay) when done ticking fuel pump comes on. When it's average temp. Outside 15-30 minutes when cold out 20-40 degrees up to 2 hours. After fuel pump comes on has to prime, ( if you would) another 15 minutes until it will start and stay runnin. If it's off for 20 minutes or more I have to go through the whole process again. I've replaced the fuel pump, filter, relay, pressure regulator and a complete tuneup and crank sensor. Always has good fuel pressure, that's why I think it's an electrical issue. Any help is much appreciated. This is one Jeep thing I don't understand. Thanks, Jonathan

When it won't start, check to see if it is getting both spark and fuel to the engine?

Hi,

That post was from 2010, so chances are there won't be a reply. However, in the final post, the person indicated the PCM took care of the problem.

Is your vehicle the same year, make, and model? Let me know. If it is, let me know exactly what you are experiencing.

Take care,

Joe
