Hi..I recently bought a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee.Being a woman and not having the truck checked out..I now have a big problem. The truck wasn't starting right up,it would take a few times, and then it would stall.A few people in my family {men} who know about cars, heard a noise in the front part of the engine and told me that there's a problem with the lifters.I was told that it's a big job and I'm very upset. Can you advise me? Also, the check engine light is on.

Thank you,

1st thing I would do is check the oil pressure might not be making it all the way to the valvetrain. 2nd pull the OBD2 code/s from the computer- 3rd check the fuel pressure/volume.
