Check for applicable trouble codes. Have a helper crank it, while you visually check for spark at the plugs. If you have spark everywhere, use a gage and check fuel pressure. Some of the national brand auto stores used to loan out a fuel pressure gage.

I had that problem with mine and what it turned out to be for me was that the wires for my Neutral Safety Switch needed to be adjusted. Try starting the car in neutral. And then if it at least starts in neutral do some research online about where the NSS wires are, next to the engine, and move them slightly, its what got my jeep to start when in park.
