My 1994 jeep cherokee starts and runs for about thirty seconds then stalls will not start again for awhile. Could it be the fuel pump?

Hi:
I recommend checking the fuel pump pressure when it doesn't start. Here is a "How To" video to watch. Also, many parts stores will lend or rent the gauge.

Let me know what you find.

Does your jeep have an alarm system.
I had the same problem and found water had gotten into the alarm system so I had to disarm it.

I looked it up online but if I remember right.
On the interior roof there is a sensor.
Take apart the sensor and disconnect the wires that are there.
As soon as I did this we were golden, and believe it or not the alarm still is working.
