I HAVE A 1993 JEEP 4.0 ENGINE THAT WILL NOT START IT WAS RUNNING FINE I WAS OUT OF TOWN FOR THREE DAYS WHEN I RETURNED IT WOULD NOT START. I CHANGED THE DISTRIBUTER CAP AND ROTOR IT HAS FIRE BUT IS VERY WEAK. IT ALSO IS GETTING GAS SO I AM THINKING IT IS ELECTRCIAL COULD IT BE THE COIL ANY INFORMATION WILL BE HELPFULL.

In answer to your question, I would start at the coil. If you are getting weak spark, like you said, take a look at the coil. I'm not sure what the exact values are for your coil, but you could always try a new one. They are fairly inexpensive for the 1993.
If that does not solve the problem, it's time to get a volt meter, and start testing circuits in the ignition system.
