Dear Sirs,
I'm having a problem a month ago which can be represented as follows:
When go through a right turn the car stops taking fuel. Whereas when I go through a left turn or drive straight forward or even a slight right turn the fuel arrives normally to the engine.
I have checked the fuel pump and all the electrical system and it turned out to be functionning properly.
Do you have an Idea of what maybe the problem?
Thank you,
Bernard Sfeir

May have a baffle in the tank that is loose and blocking the pump pick-up. How do you know it is losing fuel pressure? Have you had a manual gauge on it to be sure?

Thank you for your reply.

The fuel tank was checked to be clean from dirt and the fuel pump was replaced by a brand new one.

I knew that the car is losing fuel pressure when I go through a right turn it stops taking fuel and sometimes turn off. This happens only on right turns.

I have seen the design of a Renault Megane fuel pump and I noticed that the pump sucks fuel not directly from the tank but from a small container which attached in the same body of the pump thus the pump is always fed by fuel no matter how the car turns.
But in the case of the Jeep I noticed that such container doesn't exist thus this problem is happening but I'm not sure of it.

The only thing that gets me on that one is that the pump is centrally located in the tank, so if it were a problem on right turns it would also fuel starve on left turns. How low on fuel does the tank have to be for this to happen?
