Electrical problem
1988 Jeep Cherokee 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive

We are not getting any fire from the wires to the main coil pack. Already changed that thing by the battery. Think its a distributor or something like that. Is little and gold with 4 prongs on it. Forgive me I don't know anything about jeeps lol. What could be the problem? It was running one day, we shut it off and it has not started since then. I have a cranck cinture, could that be the problem maybe?
