1988 Jeep Cherokee Crankshaft

So we have to get the crank resurfaced, but I found a couple on craigslist and ebay. My question is, I found a crank, but it was pulled out of a 95 Wrangler YJ with an automatic transmition, but its was in a 4.0.
So i'm curious, will it work, or do I have to get one for a manual and is there a year range or anything?
