Recently replaced bad battery in my car--tester showed battery to be bad. Engine had recently been turning slow but was still starting. After putting in new battery car cranks but will not start. Sounds like it is cranking normally--even gave it a boost with jumpers just in case new battery might not have been fully charged. Up until putting in new battery never had major problem with car. Just wondering if there is a reset or a particular fuse that I should check.--Thanx

Hi there,

Check for 12V at coil (ignition on) remove coil lead from distributor cap and hold near earth, (not with hands) and test for cranking spark. If OK, pull and clean spark plugs, they may be fouled and if so they will not fire. Number all leads as you don't want to mix them up. Try this first.
