Engine Mechanical problem
1998 Jaguar XJ8 V8 100000 miles

What should i do about this problem i took it to the Jaguar dealer and they told me it is very expensive to fix...It is still leaking oil ...Should i take it to other mechanics for thier opinion...I dont want to spend alot of money fixing this car because its not worth it...Is thier a way to stop the oil leaking and spending 2 much fixing it??? Thank You and Please help me

Hi there,

The dealer will always be the expensive option, go get a second opinion from a few work shops and compare the price, you have not mentioned where the leak is, i am presuming it may be the rear main seal?
